2016 is one of those years that most people won’t want to talk about. We had Brexit, Trump, and a string of celebrity deaths. But I’m not one to be negative….all of the time. There are some thing’s that happened to me in 2016 that were good. And I’m going to share them with you in the hope that it will help inspire you to reach for the stars.
Organic Aromas asked me to review a new line of essential oils to see how they manage fragrance my home and beyond. If you don’t already know, Scents of the month is that time when we have a look at the latest stuff to fragrance my home. A while ago, you may remember, I was sent an oil diffuser to test. I absolutely loved it and have continued to use it with different oils. So I was really excited when Organic Aromas got in touch and asked me to review their new line of oils.
Chilli pepper burn, my husband once made the mistake of saying “it must be worse than childbirth”. Having been through childbirth, I’m inclined to agree with him because at least in childbirth they can give you the good drugs to stop the pain.
September is the month when we do things like get the kids back to school and celebrate by cleaning out the house to make way for the holidays. Halloween and Christmas are just around the corner, and Starbucks have launched their famous Pumpkin Spice latte for the autumn. It’s all change this month with new stuff. So it’s not surprising then for this month I have a special Scents of the Month with Eden Semilla oils.

Sometimes my beauty picks are all about your skin and being youthful. Making it look better, protecting it, and making it shimmer. I’m not getting any younger so anything that can roll back the years and make me think that I’m a young chick again is good in my books. Hopefully I won’t forget my real age again and get in trouble with the tax office, again.
Scents of the month is becoming one of my favourite things to talk about. Kind of. We all know I’m a bit nutty about smells and this month is no different. In fact, I might have been a bit more nutty than usual. But that is what happens when you have dogs and children, you get a bit paranoid about the whiffs that come from your home.

I really am pretty paranoid when it comes to my house. Children, dogs, and general living can make it smell. Seriously, I hate it! And I always hate someone is calling at the door in case there is a waft of something that smacks them up the face. It doesn’t help that Thor, my male cat, decided to pee repeatedly in the front hall for some reason. It would probably kill you with the smell of bleach and cleaning fluids that comes from there now but I’m still paranoid that it stinks of cat wee.

There is something that our parents forget to mention when we were growing up. At some point in your adult life, it is going to become difficult to make new friends. But this is the age of the internet. There are apps for dating, staying in touch with people around the world, and making yourself look like a dog in pictures. But now we have Huggle, a new app designed to help you meet new people.
I’ve been very naughty. Not only did I use way too much stuff last month, but I forgot to do a write up about it. Oops! But never mind that now, let’s get cracking and have a look at my empties from the bathroom.
