Countless hordes of women feel like they’re on a lifelong diet which never works. Despite the fact they’ve been “watching what they eat” since the early 90s, they have yet to reach that goal weight. In fact, things have only gotten worse, no matter how much they deprive themselves. It hardly seems fair, does it?

But, this is the curse of dieting. Other than achieving a yo-yo effect, it’s no surprise you haven’t seen any results. Dieting isn’t workable. It certainly isn’t a lasting answer to your problems. That’s a universal fact. Though, the reason these plans don’t work does vary between each of us. As such, we’re going to take a look at the three leading issues which might be behind your lack of success and the reason your diet isn’t working.

Your focus is in the wrong place
If you embark on a new eating plan with your waist in mind, your chances of success plummet. Strange, we know. But, focusing on health rather than weight is sure to serve you better. In a way, this is a cause and effect issue. Your waistline is larger than it perhaps should be because you aren’t taking care of your health. As such, dieting is like putting an ill-fitting plaster on a deep cut. The plaster itself heals nothing. And, your dieting isn’t doing any good. Instead, nutritional cleansing is a healthier alternative in every way, because it deals with your health, which can in turn deal with your waistline. So, reassess your priorities. Focus on your body, not it’s size. The rest is sure to follow.
You’re a lazy dieter

Another big reason your diet isn’t working is the lazy dieter attitude. You’re willing to cut back the snacks, but there’s no chance you’re exercising. Sound familiar? A shocking amount of women on the diet wagon would say the same. But, go figure, this is no way to lose weight. It doesn’t matter how well you’re eating, not moving is a sure way to failure. There’s just no denying that nothing is better for losing weight than getting active. After all, the majority of food is stored as fat, no matter how little of it you eat. And, the only way to burn it is to move. Go for daily walks if you don’t fancy running sessions. It doesn’t matter how you move, just that you do it.
You’re in the binge eating habit
Many a dieting woman falls down on the good old binging habit. You’ve eaten well all week, so you have a ‘treat day’ to reward yourself for your efforts. Let’s not beat around the bush; this is akin to a smoker rewarding their quitting efforts with a cigarette. It puts all your efforts to waste. What’s more, your body is likely so hungry by this stage that it stores each last morsel of fat. Thus, your weekly efforts are undone in an instant. Cut the binging by focusing on the healthiest meals which fill you the most. Starving yourself will never be as efficient as eating often and well.
