Describe your site/work in three words
Awareness, Acceptance, Advice
What is your favourite book?
On The Edge of Gone by Corrine Duyvis
What is your most hated word?
Lazy
If you ruled the world, what’s the first thing you would do?
I’d make days longer. I’m constantly getting to the end of my day, wishing I had more time to do everything. I can imagine my workload would only increase if I ruled the entire world, too.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because it was easier than trying to walk around it.
What is your star sign?
Virgo
What is the weirdest/worst thing that has ever happened on a first date?
I’ve never been on a proper date…
What is your favourite movie?
I really like X+Y (not Pokemon). It’s about an autistic teenager who gets approved for a Chinese maths camp and explores his difficulties. It’s really good.
What is your favourite food?
I LOVE cheese dippers.
What do you do to relax?
I have this really bad habit of binge-watching TV shows. At the moment, it’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
What is the most badass thing you have ever done?
I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. I’m (quite annoyingly) a stickler for the rules.
Humble Brag time. Tell me something amazing that you are working on.
I hope to have at least one eBook published by the end of the year. Let’s see how that goes!
What is your favourite childhood memory?
When I was younger, I had a special bond with my granddad and he’d teach me maths. One year he brought me a times table book and he tested me on them every time I saw him.
If you could go back in time and give 16 year old you some advice, what would you tell yourself?
That was only four years ago for me, but I’d tell her that worrying so much about the future isn’t worth it. The future will come and there’s nothing you can do about it except love yourself, and make the most of the moment you’re actually living in. Also, stop trying to change yourself to appeal ‘normal’. You’ll soon find friends who love and appreciate you regardless of the things you find difficult.
What is the meaning of life?
I’m not sure I know that yet. I don’t know if I ever will.
Can you dance?

If money was not a factor, what would be your dream job?
I’m a freelance writer at the moment, which is pretty damn awesome! I’d love to open and run a facility for disabled people with mental health problems if I ever won the lottery, though.
What is your biggest achievement?
Finishing college with the highest possible grades after almost dropping out six months earlier.
What is playing on your internal jukebox right now?
Happier – Bastille
If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’ve never been abroad, but I love the idea of visiting a hot country with lots of history. Spain and Italy would be my top picks, I think.
What’s your favourite TV show?
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. I’m obsessed!
Any regrets?
I used to have lots, but I’m trying to change my mindset so I view them as lessons that I can learn from instead of things I should feel negative about.
