Jewellery is one of my pleasures because my fashion sense is questionable. For one thing, jewellery is one of those things that can be classic and timeless. Even you have a piece that is over 50 years old, could still accessorise an outfit. So, why are we not choosing better pieces and wasting our money on fast fashion when we could have a piece that will last for years? With this in mind, let’s talk about the Daisy Jewellery X Estée Lalonde Together collection.

Who are Daisy Jewellery?
“Daisy is the essence of the carefree London girl wherever you are in the world.
Essential yet special, laid-back but polished, timeless yet meaningful.
Especially on you.”
Let’s start with the company in question. Daisy London is a much-loved British jewellery brand known for beautiful, everyday jewellery with meaning. The overall feel of the pieces at the heart of Daisy lie in an adventure, a love for life, and a need to explore. There is some wonderful about acknowledging that we are all part of something much bigger. That together, we are everything. Daisy Jewellery creates pieces that are missing from their own jewellery collections and put them in reach of our own. Each piece is designed to be an extension of your own personal style, wherever you are in the world.
Dreamt up in London’s Portobello Road, after launching in 2009 with the namesake Daisy collection that was inspired by wildflowers, the brand has grown to cult status. The fusing a bohemian state of mind with wearable, contemporary jewellery design. Above all, Daisy Jewellery is a brand for women by women. In just 10 years, Ruth Bewsey has gone from the first team member who was running every kind of errand imaginable to taking the helm as the creative director and the unofficial heart and soul of the brand. A team of brilliant women, not forgetting a few equally brilliant men, pour their love into Daisy Jewellery to make a brand that represents the best of all of us.

What we are loving …
The first thing that you need to know is that I love silver jewellery. I’m not a fan of yellow or rose gold, it’s just not my jam. However, silver and white gold are my favourite things. However, it can be hard to get tough to find good quality jewellery that will go the distance. Of course, we can buy cheap fashion jewellery as long as you don’t mind your finger turning green and your jewellery turning a shade of rose gold. The ring that I got my mitts on is both stylish and comfortable. My little digits have a habit of swelling up so I don’t like to wear rings that could get stuck. The dome shape can be easily pulled off with they get to that point in the day when they start to swell. I know this is not the most glamorous thing to discuss but we all know it can happen. The chain that I have is just beautiful. It is a good length and sits beautifully against my skin. Why no photos of my wearing it? I’m in the middle of a hair change and I look like a second-rate Velma from Scooby-Doo right now. But, trust me, it is a fantastic length that nestles in the nape of my neck.

The Daisy Jewellery X Estée Lalonde Together collection is not fast fashion
I’ve mentioned fast fashion a few times because it is one of those things that annoys me. I know we should start within our budget but the rate that we go through stuff is just ridiculous. Being sustainable at Daisy means starting at the very beginning, with the people, the materials and how it’s delivered to the customers. They don’t design throw away pieces. They don’t use cheap metals. They use recycled 925 sterling silver with high-quality gold plating. The jewellery is designed to be worn and treasured for years, so 50 years down the line you can still enjoy wearing them. Let this be the moment that you are encouraged to think about your curated jewellery box and choose pieces that can be worn time and time again instead of items that can be ditched after the next fad. The Daisy Jewellery X Estée Lalonde Together collection is no exception.

The newest Daisy Jewellery with Estée Lalonde is a fantastic collection that has a range of pieces that will help elevate your jewellery collection to the next level. It isn’t often that I gush about a brand but they have hit all of my happy buttons. From the designs to their ethics, there is a lot to love about Daisy Jewellery and the work that they are doing.
