January was a nightmare of a month, am I right? I was hit by so many bills (hey there TV Licence) that I couldn’t afford to get a Glossy Box until the month was nearly over. It sucked and I’m not happy about it. But, because I am the super resourceful person that I am, I was able to pull myself together and got one before the month was over.
As usual, there are affiliate links to other trusted sites where you can buy this stuff for yourself. You can even use my refer a friend link and get your own Glossy Box. If you choose to click these links, I get rewarded with credit or cash for pointing you in that direction.
Boots Beauty Beneath Supplements
I am a big fan of multivitamins and getting the good stuff into your body. Having the right stuff going into the body means it shows in your skin and hair. These are capsules that claim to help boost collagen production and prevent fine lines. I’ll be honest, fine lines are not high on my list of problems. As someone who is active, I’m more concerned with my joints. I normally take joint tablets and an iron multivitamin as part of my daily routine. But if the formula is as jam-packed as it says on the box, would I be better switching to this instead?
Evelyn Iona Cosmetics Green Tea Primer
A good primer can be a girl’s best friend and can make the cheapest makeup work better. I have found primers to be a bit smelly, or is that just me? This one smells better than some of the others I’ve had recently. It is really silky and easy to apply. I found it really good for blending and made my foundation look better. It also didn’t have that sticky feeling when you try and apply makeup on top of it.
Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil
Dr Botanicals Vegan Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil
I have used this oil a couple of times and I’m in love with it already! It seems divine and absorbs into your skin really quickly. I have been out in the cold a lot recently and this has been amazing for repairing the damage done by the winter winds. It says you only need three drops of the oil but I’ve been using a bit more because of the state of my skin is currently in. This stuff is a definite must-have for the winter skincare routine.
Nail Medic Nail and Cuticle Energizer
My hands have also been taking a massive beating in this weather. Wooly gloves, cold winds and pushing a buggy can really wreck your nails. This is a gorgeous scent which really hydrates the nail bed. It also claims to make nails stronger, which would be handy. Get it? “Handy” for stronger your nails. Ok, bad pun, but no bad smell. It really smells like lavender.
Apicia Cream Blush
I am the first to admit, I’m not a fan of cream blush. But I had a go with this and it is amazing! This is made with organic bee pollen. Why is that important to blush? I have no idea. But what I can tell you is that this blush is a cute pink that is really easy to blend. This is a great cream blush for people who are new to blush.
