I don’t know how I used to live without talc! I used talc as a child but stopped when I became a teenager. Now that I am a grownup, I’ve fallen in love with talc again. This is a grownup talc that has been a lifesaver with that summer heat. It was great for getting out of the shower and dusting yourself down before the heat hit you.

If you can imagine how much I love ordinary talc, can you imagine how much I love shimmering talc? A lot, that’s how much. This scent is an Avon classic which I fell in love with. The talc is lightweight and has a slight shimmer that makes your skin glow. It’s not just for old ladies.

I don’t tend to use razors. Sorry, correction. I don’t buy razors. I do use them when I get sent them to test out. I prefer waxing or some other form of ripping my body hair out by the follicles. This isn’t bad for a razor but it isn’t the best that I have ever used. I’d probably give it a 6 out of 10, so not bad but not great.

I’m normally one for big, fruity scents in the shower but I thought I would shake things up a bit with some Sanex. For an unscented shower gel, this wasn’t half bad. There was a good lather and left me feeling clean. Plus the massive bottle lasts a hell of a long time, even if you shower twice a day.

This shower gel was more in line with what I usually get. It’s cheap, it’s cheerful and it smells like fruit. Unfortunately, the scent wasn’t that great and it did smell cheap. This wasn’t too bad but I wouldn’t want to use it again.
Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber
Ok, this might just be a picture of an empty packet but stay with me. I’m still using the body scrubber but I wanted to include it in this post because it is technically an empty. But by the time I get around to binning the actual scrubber, I will probably have forgotten where it was from and lost the packet. This is really good for clearing away dead skin cells and giving yourself a good clean.

I love Dove handwash. Love, love love! This is a creamy handwash that smells divine and leaves your hands super soft. This has the signature Dove scent and has a thick, creamy texture. This is a must for a guest bathroom to help give a feel of luxury.

First of all, isn’t this just the cutest bottle!? Yes, it is and it’s huge as well. Half a liter of handwash isn’t that much when you have 3 children but this is still a decent size. This has an amazing scent that is fun for all of the family, even my kids loved the smell.

As we all know, I am not a big fan of Avon products but as a rule, they aren’t too bad. This volume shampoo and conditioner duo smells like raspberry and hibiscus. They were ok, not bad but not great either. They are better for normal hair, or dry damaged or coloured.

This is one of the better smelling shampoos from Avon. The scent of honey and cranberry was a bit stronger than the other shampoos and it lathered a bit better too. This still wasn’t great but the smell and lather make it rank a little bit higher in my books.

Verbena and peppermint, could there be a better combo for the shower in the morning? This one is the highest ranking Avon shampoos in this post for me. This has a great smell and it leaves your hair feeling really clean. I had picked this one up because my hubby loves the smell of mint but I stole this one after the first wash.

This limited edition peach and lily fragrance is guaranteed to take you away from it all. I love Herbal Essences and they are great for damaged hair. These are kind of cheap so they are great if you are on a budget and still want good hair.
Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
This is one of the many big brands trying to step in the direction of less chemicals. This has no silicone and no colorant. This is another cheap shampoo and conditioner that is great for good hair. It is not quite as a good as the regular Herbal Essences but is still a good choice for doing the do every day.

I know these are little testers but they needed to be mentioned. I am not 100% sold on the idea of conditioner first and shampoo second but I tested it anyway. It wasn’t too bad, my hair was clean and soft but I can’t get my head around the change of the order. Maybe it will grow on me but at the minute, I’m still on the fence.

Do you guys remember when I got a random hair box send out? Yeah, that stuff all lasted ages! This was one of the shampoos that was in the box, and all I can say is “wow”. This shampoo was a pure luxury in a bottle. the quality was amazing, it left my hair so soft I wasn’t sure if I needed conditioner.

When it comes to looking after dyed hair, you need to start with a good shampoo. And when you have been bleaching it, you need to break out the big guns! This is great if you have been abusing your hair and it needs some TLC. It can be paired with any good quality conditioner to help whip your hair back to good health.

This was one of those products that I wasn’t sure about. I like to wash and condition my hair, so using a co-wash seems alien to me. This is surprisingly amazing for a one-stop product. This is great for coloured hair because it won’t strip the colour from your hair and you only need to “wash” your hair once instead of two washes and one conditioner with all of those rinses that go with it.

This was one of my random bottles of conditioner that I have in the bathroom as a spare. This is fairly decent as a random conditioner, even when it is teamed up with a completely pants shampoo. It has a lovely smell and a good texture that isn’t too heavy.

Who needs something extra for their hair? Yeah, me too. My hair is like straw if I don’t use the right stuff (see below for some of the bad choices) and I like to keep my hair soft. Hair should be like skin and this Dove conditioner will leave your hair like skin, but not so soft that it feels greasy.

This was another sample but still needed a mention. This is perfect for dry and damaged hair. It is a shame that I only had a small sample to use on my hair because my hair drank it up! I could have used a bit more so if it came in a tub, that would be great. If it comes in these little triangle packets I would think twice about buying them, but only because I would need around 3 of them for my hair. And that is a lot of waste.

Everyone should use a hair treatment every so often and this is one that I loved. It had one of those rich and amazing scents that transports you to somewhere else. The texture, the smell, everything about this treatment screams lux product for your hair. This is one to invest in to keep your locks shiny and soft.
