Expand your education
Glasgow has an impressive amount of museums and education centres for you to explore. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is a favourite place for tourists, not only is it beautiful, it’s free admission. The Riverside Museum can give you a better insight into the history of the city. Although, if history isn’t your thing, you can check out the Glasgow Science Centre. the little ones will love the soft play area and the grown-ups will love the planetarium. Food Meets Belly
If there is something that you need to know about Scotland, people love their food. If you ever find yourself in the middle of a Glasgow dating situation that requires a last-minute dinner on the town, Bread Meats Bread has a no reservation policy, so you can walk in off the street for a great burger. If you are a bit more organised and can remember to book something in advance, then it is worth your while checking out Black Sheep Bistro. Tiffney’s Steakhouse is considered on of the best places to get a steak as they use local, highland beef. Nardini’s offers up dessert with an award-winning variety of ice-cream that is prepared in-house.
Be outdoors
When you are in a city, it can be tough to get any time with nature. Thankfully, there are plenty of beautiful parks that you can visit. Kelvingrove Park is one of those special places that is perfect to meet up with someone that you might have met on a Glasgow dating site. Not only is it a peaceful area by the river, but it is also home to some rare animals such as kingfishers and otters. the Winter Gardens is a beautiful place that is best enjoyed when the weather is behaving better.
Something a bit different
If you fancy trying something a bit different, don’t worry, Glasgow has you covered. The Glasgow Tigers Speedway normally has events running from March to August and it is great fun to watch with edge of your seat drama as the bikes race around the track. If you feel like something that is a bit slower in pace, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland has a performance running every day. Glasgow Cathedral is one of the last remaining medieval cathedrals left in Europe that isn’t in ruins so it a unique sight to see and visit. If you want to get weirder with your time, then sitting directly adjacent from the Glasgow Cathedral you’ll find one of the oddest attractions in Glasgow. Modeled on the Pere-Lachaise in Paris, The Necropolis is now known as one of the most significant cemeteries in the whole of Europe and it’s pretty famous after being featured in a range of tv shows and movies.
