Football is one of those sports that you don’t have to know a great amount about because it has a culture of its own. I am a football fan (and I can’t wait to go to Manchester later in the year and maybe see Manchester United play at home) but I’m no-where as passionate as the Scottish are about the game. Aberdeen is particularly proud of their football club, it’s been in the top division of the Scottish Premiership since 1905. I would love to go and Aberdeen FC play a match, but only if it is against Rangers.
Date night vibes
What I love about exploring a new city is the nightlife that is the perfect compliment for date night. There is so much to do, so many restaurants to try out, and so many bars that carry local spirits and beer! It shouldn’t be surprising that people who use an Aberdeen dating site will be spoilt for choice. Because of the COVID lockdowns and restrictions, a lot of the bigger restaurants that used to sit-in table service are now offering a high-end delivery service. So, if you were planning on taking the better-half out for a romantic meal for your anniversary, but can’t, never fear, you can now order in.
Not just Aberdeen city to explore
Aberdeenshire is an area that includes Aberdeen city, which might not seem important but when you making a post about travel, it seems important to point out. Why am I making this point? Excellent question. Although this post is about Aberdeen, it is worth noting that there is a big and beautiful slice of the countryside that is right on the doorstep of the city. And this area is names slightly differently, m’kay? In fact, if you go out into the country and see some cows, they might be the famous Aberdeen Angus cows. Or if you head to Bullers of Buchan, you might see some puffins swooping across the waves.
Beach day trips
Scotland might not be the first place that you think of for a beach day trip but stay with me for a moment. Because the beach in Scotland is not high on people’s to-see list, they tend to be pretty empty and clean. In fact, there are regular beach cleanings that you can volunteer to help with. You might not way to go in for a skinny dip, it might be a bit nippy (but what you do when you are in Aberdeen dating is between you and your date, no judgment). There are 165 miles of continuous coast that can be explored. and Aberdeen City is ridiculously close to the coast so you can have the perfect balance of city vibes and beach waves.
