The Power of the Sun
In terms of its power, it has been measured that the sun provides something like 1,300 watts per square meter each second to the Earth. So, when you consider that the Earth is 6,371 km in radius and that there are 31,535,300 seconds in 365 days, you can begin to see the sun’s potential as an energy source for the world. We only have to find ways to tap into its energy source. We have to take advantage of every moment that the sun is out.
Believe it or not, you can still get sunburned in cloudy weather. This is because although the brightest sun rays will be blocked by clouds, a good deal of solar radiation will still make its way through. It is for this reason that solar panels will still work in cloudy conditions. Also, solar panels will store energy for use later when it is dark. The power of the sun cannot be underestimated and must not be wasted as an energy source if we are to continue powering the Earth for future generations.

Heating, for instance, is expensive to run using conventional electricity sources. Then, as a bonus, any surplus energy collected can be sold back to the grid. This will help conserve fossil fuels for longer because the electricity companies will then not need to produce so much of their electricity. Wind farms have helped, though, however unattractive they might look. The beauty of solar panels is that they can blend in with a roof design. Also, more panels can be added to produce more electricity as required.
Environment
As talked about previously, the environment is a factor and one of the reasons why solar panels have become so popular. We now do not just see them powering watches and calculators for free, but on a larger scale on the tops of roofs and making a difference. Businesses, as well as homes, are benefitting from cost-effective electricity and helping the environment at the same time. Fossil fuels will not last forever and one day run out. So, we need alternatives such as solar power to keep our country functioning for future generations to enjoy. Otherwise, we will become a cold planet where there is no life. We want to sustain life on Earth for as long as possible, if not forever. There is no reason why we cannot achieve it if we can stay warm through solar power and keep enough of our trees to supply us with oxygen.
In summary, solar polar power has to be the future. The sun is more than powerful enough to supply us with energy, solar panels can direct that energy to our homes and businesses, and as a result, the environment will benefit as much as our bank account will in the long term.
