If there’s one job that we all love to hate (or just plain dislike) it’s cleaning the oven. Because we know that this is always a big job. So it’s time to work out the best way to keep your oven clean for good. And while the number one option in the infographic below is to just not use it, if you are using your oven on a daily basis, you need more realistic options. So here are the three that could really help you out.
1. Be Vigilant
First of all, you’re going to want to make sure that you’re keeping your eyes on the cooking. Because if you’ve got sauces or fat spitting and dripping everywhere, you need to be able to take control of this and stay on top of the mess. So when you’ve finished cooking, make sure that you’re mopping up any spillages right away before they stick and become difficult to shift.
2. Cover Up
A great trick to avoid too much mess is to make sure that you’re covering up as much as possible. If you’re making a roast, be sure to wrap some foil around it so that you can minimize the spillages as much as possible. This can often cut your cleaning down in half. Even lining the bottom of the oven with a bit of foil for big meals can help prevent big messes sticking to the bottom.
3. Buy The Best
Finally, you’re going to want to make sure that you’re using the best products for the job. You need something that will cut through the grease as the infographic says. But don’t expect miracles. Because you will need to get scrubbing still too! But anything that can reduce the amount of elbow grease needed is good in our books.
