Celebrity killers part 4, there are plenty of celebrity scandals from the looks of things. And murder is one of the biggest ones for them to try and cover up. For some, it’s done in self-defence. For others, they have taken someone’s life in cold blood.

Aaron Hernandez

Professional footballer and stone cold killer, Hernandez will go down in history as a footballer with a bloody past. Hernandez was convicted of 1st-degree murder in 2015 but he has been connected with several other crimes. In 2007, he was almost charged with assault after he punched a man in the head, rupturing his eardrum. He was connected to a shooting in 2007 when shots were fired into a car. In 2012, he was investigated as part of a double murder in Boston. And again in 2013 for a shooting in Miami. His luck finally ran out in 2013 when he was arrested for the murder of Odin Lloyd. On 19th April 2017, Hernandez committed suicide in prison by hanging himself with his bedsheets.

Robert Blake

Robert Blake had one of the longest careers in Holywood. He started as a child actor, left to serve in the army, but returned when his tour of duty was over. Blake was arrested in 2004 for the murder of his second wife, Bonnie Lee Bakley. Blake did not trust his second wife as she had been arrested for fraud and drug charges over the years. Plus she wasn’t sure who the father of her daughter was, Blake or Christian Brando. Her marriage to Blake would be her tenth marriage. Bakley was shot in the head on 4th May 2001 after being out with Blake in a restaurant. Two stuntmen came forward and agreed to testify that Blake had attempted to hire them to kill Bakley. He was later acquitted of all charges but civil suits left him in ruin.

Rae Carruth

Rae Carruth is another football star linked to a murder. But this one is really coldblooded. In 1999, Carruth was causally an estate agent, Cherica Adams. Adams was 8 months pregnant with Carruth’s child when he helped an associate of his murder her. Carruth stopped his car in front of Adams as she was driving. Van Brett Watkins Sr. pulled up beside her and began shooting into the car. Adams was able to stay awake long enough to call the police and report what happened. She later slipped into a coma and died. The baby was born by C-section but suffered from disabilities due to lack of oxygen.

Fay DeWitt

Fay DeWitt doesn’t look like someone who could take a life, but she has. In 1965, she stabbed her husband to death. Rumour has it, it was done with a letter opener. Her husband, the playwright Ray Allen, was a drunk who liked to beat DeWitt. On the day of his death, he had been reportedly beating DeWitt’s head against a wall. She attacked back and killed him. The charges were later dropped as it was self-defence.

Skylar Deleon

Deleon was a child actor who turned into a troubled twenty-something. He wasn’t able to make into the world of adult acting as he never remembered his lines. On 15th November 2004, Deleon was seen boarding a yacht which he wanted to buy with the owners and his family. The yacht returned but the owners did not. Thomas and Jackie Hawks wanted to sell the boat so they could be closer to their family. The police investigation which followed was a dark journey into the mind of Delecon. Claims of drug deals, murder and self-mutilation all became part of it. Deleon is currently sitting on death row for the murders of three people.

Huddie William Ledbetter

Ledbetter, or Lead Belly as he is better known, was a blues singer during the early part of the 20th century. He is best known for playing a 12 string guitar and his strong vocal style. Lead Belly spent two spells in prison. The first was in 1915 for the possession of a gun. He escaped from prison and went into hiding. But in January 1918, he was sentenced to prison after he murdered a member of his family in a fight. Will Stafford and Lead Belly got into a fight over a woman, and Stafford was killed. Lead Belly only served 7 years of his sentence after he convinced the Governor to pardon him.

Gig Young

Gig Young was the stage name of Byron Barr. He was an actor and performer who was best known for his supporting roles in Hollywood. He was married five times but it was his fifth marriage which would be the death of him. Kim Schmidt was only married to Young for three weeks when they were both found dead in their apartment. The police believed that Young had shot his new wife before turning the gun on himself.

Christian Brando

The son of legendary actor, Marlon Brando, Christian had plenty of drama in his life. On 16th May 1990, Brando shot and killed the boyfriend of his half-sister. His half-sister, Cheyenne, was 8-months when she told her brother she was being abused by her boyfriend, Dag Drollet. Christian confronted Dag with a gun in an attempt to scare him but ended up shooting him. Brando spent 5 years in prison and Cheyenne committed suicide before he was released. While he was in prison, he was contacted by Bonnie Lee Bakley (yep, the same one as above). They began a relationship when he was released and was named as the father of her daughter before DNA testing ruled him out.

Michael Brea

The small-time actor from Ugly Betty stunned the world when he admitted to killing his mother with a sword. Brea attacked his mother in the apartment which they shared, claiming it to be “Gods work”. Brea believed that his mother had a demon inside her and was trying to kill it. There were rumours that he hacked his mothers head off as he screamed “repent sinner” over and over. He had to be removed by a SWAT team and has been placed in a mental health unit.


When your name is C-Murder, it must be a lot to live up to. Real name, Corey Miller, is part of an extensive hip-hop and rap family that includes his brother Master P and nephew Romeo. Mr Murder was convicted of killing a teenage fan during a fight in 2002. He has been known to pull a gun on people, just type C-Murder surveillance video into YouTube and see what comes up.
