I don’t know how many times I have said that I am going to get my life together, make a plan, do the plan for a few days, and then throw the plan in the bin. This time, it’s different. This time, I have to do it. And I’m starting with a week one review. Because if strangers on the internet can’t keep you accountable, who can?
Duolingo has been on my phone since 2015. I’ve used it a few times, managing a few days on the trot to log in and complete a lesson or two. But I’ve never been able to keep it going to make an impact. So what would happen if I used it a little bit every day? Would I actually learn something? It’s time to see if I can discover a love of chess.
