I never thought I would see the day that could put too many pictures and words in one post but it looks like those days have finally arrived.

Skincare
Skincare is a big one for me and it should be for you too. If your skin isn’t right, you will feel uncomfortable or sore, your makeup won’t sit right, and it can leave you on a bit of a downer. One of the biggest things to happen in skin care in recent years is the use of all natural products. Vita Coco Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil
is one of the most popular coconut oils for using in the bathroom and the kitchen.
One of the most important things for me is moisturising my skin. I have been using NIVEA Q10 Power Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Age Spot Day Cream

for years and they are probably the reason why I still look young(ish).
As important as moisturiser is, washing your face is just as important for good skin. I really liked using CONTEXT SKIN Micro-Derm Regenerator

is really good for removing makeup and brightening your skin. The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil 30ml With 3 PRECIOUS SEED OILS
was a great oil to use at the end of the day your face needs an extra boost before hitting the hay.
I also seemed to end up with a small mountain of packets. I had no idea how many little sachets I went through every month! Ok, I probably didn’t go through all of these in one month but I wouldn’t put it past me either. Admittedly, Hask Bamboo Oil Deep Conditioner
should have been in the hair section of the last post but the wee sachet got mixed up with all of the others and it’s now sandwiched in with facemasks and pore strips. Hask Bamboo Oil Deep Conditioner was pretty good considering what it was up against with my hair, but the MayBeauty pore strips were amazing! I’ve never had such an efficient pore treatment for my nose. I think they removed dirt that has been there since the ’90s.
Speaking of face cleansing, if there are two face cleansers that you use this year, make sure that they are NAOBAY EQUILIBRIA GEL TO MILK NATURAL & PRGANIC CLEANSER
and Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel
. Both of these facewashes (or cleansers) are amazing. I used both of them, twice a day, and my skin looked incredible. Barely a blemish or a mark. These are both pricey but they are worth every penny.
I am a big advocate of using facemasks on a regular basis, or when you get a minutes peace if you are a busy mum. First up, there is Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask
, a vegan face mask that is perfect for detoxing your skin. It is also great for my hangover remedy and comes in a tub for easy access, win-win! Now for the sheet masks, which if truth be told, I’m still on the fence with now that I am trying to reduce the amount of waste that goes into my bin. is really fun to use as you can feel the bubbling tickling your face as it fluffs up. 111SKIN SINGLE GOLD BRIGHTENING FACIAL TREATMENT MASK
is definitely not a cheap option for your skin care routine, especially because they are about £30 each and the packet says to do a mask three times a week. Aye, hang on to I go and pick some winning Lotto numbers here. SKIMONO Beauty Masks Foot Mask
was a foot mask but not like the ones you are thinking about. These are making your feet soft without the acid and skin peeling off for weeks after.
Stop the press! I have actually used a full lip balm! Lips by benefit Lollibalm Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm
was my go-to lip balm for the last wee while and I loved it. It is smooth, creamy, slight colour, and gentle smell. The fact that the tube is pink is just a big bonus.
Bath and Shower
Now its time for the infamous list of shower gels that I seem to go through. I sometimes wonder how I go through so much but then again I have been known to shower twice a day. If you have been here before, you will know I am a whore for anything with fantasy creatures on it. Cussons soap free unicorn magic shower & bath gel

has been one of my favourites recently because this little bottle seemed to last forever. Imperial Leather Foamburst Mermazing Shower Gel
is the foam version of the gel and it is on my to try list.
Now for a couple of disappointing ones. Cussons Pure Camomile & Vitamin E Shower Cream
was a really big bottle that was great value but it didn’t smell the greatest or give the best lather. Tesco Extracts was one I had picked up as a spare bottle in case I ran out of soap or shower gel. I know, I LOLed at that thought too. I ended up sticking it in my hand soap dispenser rather than use it in the shower.
Who likes a sweet treat? Me! Who is watching what they eat? Oh, yeah, me too. But did you know that the smell of sweet stuff or vanilla can be enough to satisfy a person’s sweet tooth? Dolly’s Mixtures shower gel was surprisingly strong for being a cheap shower gel. Patisserie de Bain Strawberry Cupcake Bath and Shower Crème
came in my Advent Calendar from Glossy Box and it was such a fab little shower creme for using over the winter months.
Now on to some of my favourites. These are the ones that seem to get used time and time again. Simple Kind to Skin Shower Gel Refreshing
is one of those shower gels that always seems to end up in the shopping trolley but it is a great body wash for the whole family. Original Source Shower Gels NEW Fragrances Rhubarb & Raspberry and Water Mint & Guarana
are the newest scents to join the Original Source family (more on those later).

was one of my Christmas presents from Christmas 2018. It was not the most glamorous of bath sets but it did the job for an extra bit of fun in the tub.

is, by far, one of the best body butters that I have used recently. This is definitely one to add to your Christmas list for a New Years pamper session, or just buy it for yourself now and be silky smooth over the summer.
I have a lot of little bottles of shower gel that were part of gift sets. Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Foaming Shower Gel
is a super-sexy smelling shower foam that turns the shower into a spa. I’m a big fan of Witch Casket and I loved their self-love shower gel, I only wish it came in a bigger bottle! My inner geek fell in love with this mini Wonder Woman shower gel, perfect for a quick wash after a day of kicking ass.
I mentioned a bit further up there about Original Source shower gel and how I am a huge fan. I don’t think there has been a Beauty Edit that hasn’t had a mention of Original Source, or there isn’t many of them. I heard a rumour that Original Source Shower Gel Lime
was a new one but I’m pretty sure I’ve used this a few times. Original Source Shower Gel Lemon and Tea Tree

are two big favourites in my house because of the tea tree smell to wake your ass up in the morning.
