3 Small Changes Anyone Can Make To Look Better

3 Small Changes Anyone Can Make To Look Better

Watching makeover programs, like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, can be very interesting. While including fashion and beauty as part of the process, the best programs often get to the core of how a person thinks about themselves, how they express their personality, and what they believe they can do to optimize both of those things.

Because we live in a world where money is needed to survive, Latte Lindsay runs a number of affiliate programmes and offers contributed or partnered content. If you choose to click the links and read the posts, the site may earn a commission or receives a payment. All of the opinions are my own. Opinions expressed here are the author’s alone, not those of any partner brands/company(s), beauty & lifestyle brands, airlines or hotel chain, and have not been reviewed, approved or otherwise endorsed by any of these entities unless specified.

It’s also amazing to see someone who might not have the greatest of style learn basic techniques for dressing properly and being well-put-together. It’s important to note that you don’t have to be “conventionally attractive,” the perfect weight, nor wealthy to achieve that look. Simple clean clothes that suit you, and fitted well, are more then enough.

However, this begs the question, are there universal measures anyone could take today to begin looking better? What if we focused on promoting these habits, as opposed to suggesting everyone needed to meet a certain aesthetic standard? In this post, we’ll discuss that approach and more, and hopefully help you put your best foot forward in that regard:

Caring For Your Teeth

It can be helpful to improve your dental hygiene and teeth, as help from an orthodontist, getting crowns, or simply having your teeth professionally cleaned can be great at improving the beam of your smile and how willing you are to share it with the world.

This is also a healthcare effort, as a secure, well-cared-for dental environment can help fight off infections, and prevent pain associated with that. As they say, there’s nothing that looks better than health.

Working On Your Posture

If you’ve found yourself slouching in recent years, you’re not the only one. Office work at desktops, looking down at your phone, hunching over a laptop, soaking into recliners or armchairs while watching Netflix, we’ve all been there. However, this can lead you to have “forward head syndrome,” and a bad posture that makes you feel uncomfortable.

That’s why it’s healthy to bring your shoulders back, place your chest forward a little, and keep your head neutral. This helps you look more confident and taller and feel better in your skin at the same time. It takes a little time, but it really does help, especially alongside ergonomic furniture you may choose to invest in. Who knows, you may even find another couple of inches to your height that you hadn’t been using.

Great Hydration, Limited Alcohol

Just drinking enough water can help you look better, because it will clear your skin more easily, help you look more vibrant and healthy, and will also help you feel better and more alert, too. Of course, conversely, alcohol has never made anyone look better in themselves, especially long-term. From empty calories causing weight gain to dry skin and a range of other health impacts, limiting your intake can be ideal. This isn’t to say that you should give it up entirely or stop having fun, but if you’re hoping to make a simple change, it’s amazing how well this can work.

With this advice, you’re sure to look great with a little effort, even if we’re sure you’re already well put together.
