I’ve said this before, and I’m very open about this, but the only reason the Latte Lindsay YouTube channel exists is because it is easier to make money over there. And I don’t judge people who create content for YouTube just for the money. But even if you are only there for the money, you end creating content that reflects your opinions and who you are. Except if you are Nicole Arbour.
Do you know what the annoying thing about running your own site is? People email you asking if they can share a story. Do you know what, that is fine, I understand that you have a level of crazy that you want to share with the world. What is not ok is hiding behind me when people appear with an angry mob. Your crazy, you deal with it. Even Ryan knows this rule. That said, sometimes other people’s crazy is so good I have to laugh. I was sent this as “anonymous” and nearly peed myself laughing. Someone clearly hates their job! Here is some crazy that didn’t come from me or Ryan (for once) so don’t email us saying it was offensive, we just found it funny.
For anyone who has piled the pounds on there comes a moment when you realise how bad it has gotten. For me, as a bit of a fitness freak in the past, when I put on a few pounds I’m the first to complain even though it’s not noticeable. But for the last six months the weight has piled on and I only realised it now. I knew my clothes didn’t fit well, I was getting out of breath easily, and I felt unwell. I put my lack of exercise down to spraining my ankle last year as there are still days it gets sore for no reason what so ever. But it was only 31st December 2014 that it hit home how bad I was. On this fateful day everything changed.
Everyone at some point has thought about losing weight but for me it’s never about losing weight. It’s about being healthy. So when me and the rest of my brood were struck down with a stomach bug, I was pretty annoyed about being ill.
